Playful, fun, energetic, beautiful, contemporary wedding and family photography. My goal for every session is to provide you with beautiful images that were fun to create. I walk away from every session knowing that my clients have had an experience being photographed that was nothing like their expectations. I know... most people find it painful to be in front of the camera. The biggest compliment I can get (and I hear it often :) ) is "That was so much fun!" and "I actually like that picture of me!"
In my thirteen years as a photographer I have seen it all. I have gotten stressed out moms to laugh with their daughters just before a wedding, grumpy grandfathers to sing with me and 18 month old children to stare right in the lens. The result - fun on their faces every time!

Kate & Jon’s Engagement Session at The Knob in Falmouth

After years of friendship with Kate, I was so happy for her when she and Jon got engaged! I met Kate and Jon for an evening of engagement photos at The Knob in Falmouth. They are one of the sweetest and funniest couples I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. Their spunky pup, Sarge, also accompanied them and added so much fun to their engagement photos. I loved photographing these three, and the images look fantastic!

The Knob Engagement Photography

The Knob is a gorgeous photography location, and I had picturesque views on all sides. It has beaches on both sides, with the lovely Quissett Harbor in the east and the expansive views of Buzzards Bay in the west. The well-marked trails through a 12-acre wooded area offer a nice hike leading out to this unique location. So if you are a fan of the outdoors and hiking, this location offers both!

Instead of getting into poses right away, we started the engagement session with Kate and Jon just walking around with Sarge. Then, I took advantage of the late afternoon light and did some portraits in front of the seagrass. These could easily qualify as my favorite engagement portraits from the session. We got into a rhythm where they would walk, chat and just be playful while I took photos.

We continued the session by using the large rocks The Knob had to offer. The images had the perfect beachy vibes with so many boats in the background. As a photographer, I love how The Knob has so much variety to offer for backdrops. Next, we moved to the dock, and I had Kate and Jon stand with Sarge for some close-ups of the puppy.
