Playful, fun, energetic, beautiful, contemporary wedding and family photography. My goal for every session is to provide you with beautiful images that were fun to create. I walk away from every session knowing that my clients have had an experience being photographed that was nothing like their expectations. I know... most people find it painful to be in front of the camera. The biggest compliment I can get (and I hear it often :) ) is "That was so much fun!" and "I actually like that picture of me!"
In my thirteen years as a photographer I have seen it all. I have gotten stressed out moms to laugh with their daughters just before a wedding, grumpy grandfathers to sing with me and 18 month old children to stare right in the lens. The result - fun on their faces every time!

10–minute photo sessions have become my favorite structure for family portraits. From the ease of signing up online all the way through to the delivery of photos, 10–minute family sessions are appealing to everyone.

How to Sign Up for 10-Minute Family Photo Sessions

A list of dates and locations are posted in August. They are periodically updated month to month depending on demand. The beauty of this is you get to fit your family session to your schedule without the back-and-forth between the photographer. Plus, the variety of locations allows for a different setting every year if you are a repeat client. Every location is pet-friendly, and I encourage you to bring out your furry friends!

Prior to the session, you receive an automated email with information about what to expect, suggestions on what to wear, payment information and a reminder about where to meet on the day of our session. On the morning of the session, I send out a text to remind you once again where we will be meeting.

What Happens During the 10-Minute Photo Sessions

During the session, you and your kids will be engaged, playing, running and likely laughing most of the time. The session feels more like a play date then a photography appointment. Check out the video below to see what I mean.

At the end of the session I will give you information about when the photos will be posted and what kind of sales will be offered. You’ll know the exact date to expect your photos and can plan to set some time aside to place your order. You don’t have to guess or worry about when your photos will be ready.

Your gallery will consist of approximately 20 photos. Among those will be fall family portraits, groupings of just the kids and perhaps individual photos of each child. Depending upon the age of the children and any requests you make.

Typically, you will receive a wide variety of images to make a fun dynamic holiday card. In addition, many clients order groups of prints to give as gifts at the holidays. Check out some of the results! This photo session format works great for families with babies, families with school-age children and families with adult children.

How to Order Your Photos

Ordering your photos through the website is a simple process. If you purchase all the files from the session, you receive an email with a link to download them immediately. If you order prints or framed canvases or a variety of other products, the turnaround time is a bit longer. Nothing takes longer than three weeks.
