I wanted to take the time to highlight some of the amazing groups and people that I have had the pleasure of working with. I feel it’s so important to build good relationships with your clients, especially in a business like photography, where trust is a big part of capturing all the important moments.
This week I want to introduce the Hockomock YMCA, serving Franklin, North Attleboro, and Foxboro. I have been working as a fitness instructor for the YMCA since 2003, and a few years ago, I started partnering with them as a photographer as well.
The YMCA is like no place I have ever worked. It truly is my extended family. I have made my best friends there and always feel like a valued member of the staff and community. I feel like that carries through in my photo work. My goal is to show the world what a fun community the Y is.
My favorite part of this collaboration is our trust. They always come back with fantastic feedback and let me contribute with my creative vision. If they have an idea they are trying to communicate, they will always ask for my input, and I feel like it is a great back-and-forth relationship. Plus, I literally get to run around and play while I am taking pictures. This past weekend, I was at Healthy Kids Day, and I got to play in the gaga pit with the campers.
Recently, I was so honored when one of the marketing team, Martha Foley, reached out in an email:
“What a marvelous job you did working the event for us. I could not have been more pleased with your hard work and enthusiasm. You are truly a joy to work with! Thanks for taking time out to provide your services to the Y. Excited to see your photos from Healthy Kids Day!“
I truly value the relationship we have built, and I always walk away from the sessions feeling positive. I also really feel like I am contributing to the growth of this community that I absolutely adore.
A big thank you to the Hockomock Y for this ongoing collaboration. I can’t wait for the next event!
This group of images is from the annual Legends Ball. Held at Lake Pearl Luciano‘s in Wrentham, this event benefits opportunities for children with special needs to participate in YMCA programs and activities alongside their typically-developing peers. It was a great time!
These were for the January promotional piece highlighting families who have found themselves at the Y. The beautiful lady featured below has lost over 50lbs since joining the Y! I love these stories.
Then the rest are from last year’s summer camp brochure which is probably my favorite summer photo assignment. I get to have kids chase me, scream at the top of their lungs and splash in the pool all in the name of good photography!
