Every year I shoot a few days of mini sessions to raise money for the Foxboro and Mansfield public schools. In these ten minute sessions I am able to get kids running, jumping, parents tickling and dogs smiling. I love the rapid pace of the day and the playfulness of the participants. Here is a video I had made last year during one of the mini session days:
This year’s session happened on May 30th at Borderland State Park in Easton, MA where I met ten families from Mansfield. I love the kids’ excitement this year. I got some to run after me as I took pictures as well as the funny faces and crazy jumping poses. I have to say running while shooting backwards is a challenge! I love it when I get something framed well and in focus. The serendipity of it pleases me 🙂
Here are some of my favorites from the day. Thank you to all of the wonderful families for coming out and allowing me to capture this moment in your lives!
