On September 20, 2014, Stacey & Nick were married with a ceremony at the Wallingford Church and a reception at the Guilford Yacht Club in Guilford, CT. I was so fortunate to be representing Anna Sawin Photography as her associate photographer for this wedding. The wonderful and talented Hoan Trinh was my second shooter for the day.
I started out by arriving at Stacey’s parents house in Wallingford, CT. The mood was positive. The bridesmaids were having their hair done at the kitchen table by the stylists at Salon Le Rae, while Stacey was having her make up done by Beauty Bar. Her dad was cracking jokes and everybody was happy.

Next we went upstairs so Stacey could get dressed in her beautiful gown from the White Dress By The Shore. She took out the gifts for the bridesmaids and they all shared a moment. I love the little bracelets she gave everyone and the significance behind each gift.
I love the smiley face made out of the jewelry.
Finally it was time for Stacey to put on her dress. It took a little while to get her tied into it. I love the images of everybody helping her get ready. The light was gorgeous and Stacey was standing in front of a mirror which couldn’t have been more perfect. You can see everybody’s reactions including her mom. I photographed Stacey by herself and finished up with some details.
Finally it was time to go. We all headed outside to get ready to leave for the church.
The flowers were created by DeVars Phillips Florist.
Stacy got out of the limousine with her dad and made her way toward the church. I headed straight for the front of the aisle so I could photograph the processional.
My second photographer Hoan held down the fort on the groom’s side. He met with Nick and the groomsmen early and a photographed Stacey and the bridesmaids while they were waiting to process. The ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful. Soon Stacy and Nick were pronounced husband and wife and we exited the church.
I photographed many of the guests as they completed their visit in the receiving line. I love these moments of couples together enjoying each other and having just witnessed a marriage. Everybody is always so happy.
Next we did some group photos in front of the church and finally we headed out toward to the Guilford Country Club. We did group photos on the lawn and then Stacey and Nick were ours to photograph in front of the incredible landscape.

The reception started with introductions after the first dance and continued with more lively dancing throughout the night. DJ Yazmer Productions kept everyone moving! There were many stylish details and it was overall a gorgeous wedding. Catering was provided by Gourmet Galley.
At sunset, Hoan and I took the couple outside for some nighttime photography. We had so much fun creating fantastic images against that gorgeous sky. Nick and Stacey were such a willing and fantastic couple let alone the fact that they are both gorgeous!
I love the photos of them in front of the sunset, especially this one of Nick lifting Stacey in a hug. From a photographer point of view – it was fun and different and Stacey and Nick had a great time being photographed. There’s nothing better than that combination!

I was so happy to have been Stacey and Nick’s photographer. They are such a lively and a fantastic couple and I could not have asked for a more wonderful evening!
