I have known Dena for many years. She worked at Wheaton College, and as a result, we have worked together often and gotten to know each other pretty well. So I was pleased when she contacted me to let me know that her nieces would be visiting Massachusetts all the way out from the West Coast and that they wanted to get some photos to mark the occasion.
We met up for a mini session at Duxbury Beach late in the afternoon. The girls played in the sand, and I took the opportunity to photograph them as they were enjoying the beach. It looked like they were having so much fun running along the water and playing together! Then, I photographed them with their grandmother as well as with their father, and I got some shots of the whole group as well.
I think my favorite images from the session, though, are the ones we got of Dena and her mom. She and her mother live next door to one another, and I love the emotion you can see between the two of them.
Thank you, Dena, for thinking of me for your family pictures! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet everyone during this mini session!
